The Crossroads

When I am mapping out a long-distance route, my criteria for a stopover are pretty rigid: secure bike storage, a functional kitchen, and proximity to local food. The Crossroads fits this profile perfectly. As a touring cyclist, the last thing I want after a long day in the saddle is a complicated check-in or a location that requires a trek across town for supplies. This hostel offers that rare balance of a welcoming atmosphere and the practical utility required for a proper rest day. Being able to access a shared kitchen means I can prep my own fuel, which is essential for keeping costs down on the road. The terraces provide a decent space to sort through gear, and the overall vibe is casual enough that you do not feel out of place rolling in with panniers. It is exactly the type of unpretentious base I look for when I need to dry out my laundry and recharge before hitting the road again. Everything I need for a quick turnaround is within easy walking distance.
