100 Islands Resort and Spa

When I am in the middle of a long-distance bike tour, my needs are fairly simple. I look for a place that offers genuine value, a secure spot to tuck my bike away, and a quiet room where I can actually recover. This hotel in Surat Thani fits that criteria perfectly. It provides that essential mix of an airy, comfortable room to collapse into and a pool set in a tropical garden, which is exactly the kind of atmosphere I find ideal for a rest day. Being able to easily walk to nearby food stalls after a long day in the saddle is a huge plus, as it saves me the hassle of extra logistics. Having access to onsite dining and breakfast makes the morning start much smoother before hitting the road again. I also appreciate having laundry facilities nearby, which is non-negotiable when you are living out of panniers for weeks at a time. It is exactly the type of unpretentious, functional accommodation I would naturally book to recharge properly before the next leg of my ride.
