Makutet First-Hand
Makutet's first-hand experience
I first saw Paradise Fishing before a spade had even entered the ground.
Living locally in Surat Thani, I've watched it develop stage by stage. The site is approximately fifteen minutes from my home. Over the course of construction, I've observed accommodation units going up, fishing facilities taking shape, fish stock being introduced, the lakes settling, and the bar, restaurant and swimming pool developing into a genuine resort infrastructure.
I've met Chris, the owner and operator, and I've personally fished at Paradise. The environment is peaceful, relaxed and rural — informal rather than highly commercial. It sits in a beautiful, quiet part of Surat Thani, and it has become increasingly impressive as construction has progressed.
It isn't open yet. That's important. But I've watched what is being created here, and I think it's worth knowing about before the doors open.
