Terms & Conditions

The Makutet Global Travel Network ("the Network") is a global directory of travel businesses operated by Makutet Ltd ("Makutet", "we", "us"). By creating a Business Hub on the Network, you ("the Business", "you") agree to these Terms & Conditions.

When you publish a Business Hub, it remains live on the Network for the lifetime of the Makutet platform at the URL assigned to your business (e.g. makutet.com/your-business). There is no subscription, no renewal, and no recurring fee. Your one-time payment covers lifetime hosting while Makutet operates the Network.

"Permanent" means your Hub stays published and accessible for as long as Makutet operates the Network. If Makutet were to cease operating the Network entirely, we will provide at least 90 days' notice and, where reasonably possible, help you export your Hub content.

You own all content you submit to your Business Hub — your business name, description, photos, contact details, services, and any other information you provide. By publishing your Hub, you grant Makutet a non-exclusive licence to display that content on the Network and in Network promotional materials (such as featured-business showcases).

You confirm that you have the right to use all content you submit, including photographs, logos, and trademarks, and that your content does not infringe the rights of any third party.

You agree that your Business Hub content will not:

• Be illegal, fraudulent, or deceptive
• Contain offensive, discriminatory, or hateful material
• Infringe another party's intellectual property or privacy
• Promote goods or services that are illegal in your operating jurisdiction
• Contain malware, spyware, or harmful code

Makutet reserves the right to remove or hide any content that violates these rules, or to unpublish a Hub that repeatedly violates them.

You can edit your Business Hub at any time after publication — update your photos, contact details, services, and description. There is no charge for edits. Your Hub remains live while you edit.

You can request removal of your Business Hub at any time by contacting Makutet support. Once removed, your Hub will no longer be publicly accessible. Your one-time payment is non-refundable upon removal (see Section 7).

Payment for a Business Hub is a one-time charge. Because your Hub is published and hosted immediately upon payment, payments are non-refundable once your Hub is successfully published, except where:

• Makutet fails to publish your Hub after payment (full refund), or
• Your Hub is removed by Makutet for a reason other than a content-rule violation (pro-rata refund at our discretion).

If your Hub is submitted for manual review and is not published, you may request a full refund.

The first 500 businesses to join the Network ("Founding 500") receive their Business Hub free of charge. Founding 500 status is allocated at the time of publication and is permanent — your Hub remains free for its lifetime. Founding 500 places are limited and allocated on a first-published, first-served basis.

Your Business Hub may display verified information from Google Places (ratings, reviews, opening hours, location). This data is provided by Google and is shown as a trust signal for travellers. Makutet is not responsible for the accuracy of Google-supplied data. You can request that Google Places data be hidden from your Hub at any time.

Makutet may use AI to help draft the About, Why Visit, and FAQ sections of your Hub based on information you supply. AI-assisted content is clearly labelled and is based on your supplied data — Makutet does not fabricate business claims. You can edit or remove any AI-assisted content at any time.

The Network is provided on an "as is" basis. Makutet does not guarantee that your Hub will generate bookings, enquiries, or traffic. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Makutet's liability for any claim relating to the Network is limited to the amount you paid for your Business Hub.

Makutet may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify published business owners of material changes by email at least 30 days before they take effect.
