After flying from Singapore to Leh, Gom spent several days acclimatising to the high altitude of Ladakh — some of the most dramatic and unforgiving mountain scenery on earth.
The Himalayan stage of the journey has begun. Over the next stretch Gom cycles south through the high mountain passes, descending from Leh towards Manali and onwards to the Spiti Valley before continuing south towards Delhi.
