Tanzania Safety Overview
Low RiskTanzania is one of Africa's more stable and safe countries for tourists. Safari areas and Zanzibar are safe with standard precautions. Dar es Salaam requires urban awareness. Petty crime is the main concern. Yellow fever and malaria prophylaxis are required.

Getting Around Tanzania
