Best Time to Visit Koh Lanta
Peak Season (Nov-Mar): Dry, perfect beach weather (26-32°C). All resorts open, calm seas for diving. Book ahead as popular with families and long-stay visitors.
Shoulder (Oct & Apr): Still good weather with occasional rain. Better deals, fewer tourists. April very hot (35°C+).
Monsoon (May-Sep): Most resorts close. Heavy rain, rough seas. Island essentially shuts down—not recommended to visit.
⚠️ Important: Unlike Phuket which stays open year-round, Koh Lanta largely closes May-October. Plan accordingly.
